Learn how to properly start your Albert computer and scanner and prepare the system for scanning.

Steps

• Make sure the scanner is empty and free of objects.
• Make sure the top of the scanner is not covered and no one is standing inside the scanner.
• Turn on the computer.
• Turn on the scanner.
• Wait approximately 30 seconds.
• Open the Albert software.
• Allow Albert to complete the scanner calibration before beginning a scan.

During Calibration

Keep the scanner empty and stand at least 3 feet away. Make sure there are no strong shadows being cast onto the scanner foil.

If You Receive an Error Message

• Exit the Albert software.
• Turn off the scanner.
• Disconnect all cables from the scanner.
• Connect only the power cable and turn the scanner back on.
• Wait 10 seconds, then connect one USB cable.
• Wait another 10 seconds, then connect the second USB cable.
• Restart the Albert software.
